Two earthquakes of magnitude Mw 7.7 and Mw 7.6 occurred in our country on February 6, 2023, at 04:17 and 13:24 Turkey time, respectively, with epicenters in Kahramanmaraş and Elbistan, causing great destruction and loss of life.

The twin earthquakes caused extensive damage and lost of life in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Malatya, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa and Malatya.

Anything for A Smile volunteers were on the ground within 10 hours bringing aid to the earthquake victims.

One of the 11 provinces affected by the February 6 Earthquake was the province of Adana, where our association is located. Although there was a lot of loss and destruction in our city, the destruction was much greater in our surrounding provinces, especially Hatay and Kahrmanmaraş, where we focused our relief efforts.

For four months, we delivered aid to Antakya, Samandağ, Maraş, Nurdağı, İslahiye and Osmaniye. Over 3000 food parcels, 500 beds, 1500 hygiene packages, 10 boxes of women's undergarments and other necessities. Twenty-five truckloads of food and aid were delivered. Thank you for working with us to make a difference in the lives of thousands of the earthquake victims who are extremely grateful for the help you sent them.
